On Win 11 Home, what was playing near perfectly, is now crashing to desktop more than frequently. This is after reinstalling a few times too. :arrgh!: About to start, yet again.

yep, yep, yep.
i'm still running on Win10 but the hits just keep on coming.
i'm playing RFB at the moment.
we encountered a single ship, in the middle of the ocean, all of a sudden my PC stops. the chronometer is visible and is stopped. for many seconds of real time it is stopped. then it starts and by the time i move my hand to click and drag the mouse, it stops again. this behaviour recurs over several minutes, until i finally manage to bang the Pause key and switch over to my other system to write this post. WTF is going on behind the curtain!?!?!?!

Just re-installed onto my C Drive, an SSD, from my D Drive, also an SSD. Started again with this and just attacked the japanese invasion force to Philippines. So far so good and got back to Manila ok.
Nope! Same again. Hit 2 japs surfaced and Desktop!
edit: It has to be Win 11. Another of my game, Fallout 4 is doing the same thing now, either total freeze or crash to desktop.
edit: Fallout 4 is doing the same thing - "pop" desktop.

I have had to remove it yet again. Crashes every time. Also bugs appearing, batteries failing to recharge, then suddenly begin to recharge a couple of 'days' later. Torpedoes refuse to auto load, and on refilling, only a few load, then the rest I have to do manually. I had hardly any mods in, not the usual, but things like pacific sound mod, webbies US torpedoes v3, deck gun optics. I'll leave it for now and try reinstalling from disc tomorrow.
