They should leave that alone it’s already a perfect film. Make a Red Storm Rising TV series for Paramount + instead

I don't know. :hmmm:
Maybe make it hyper realistic with strong cis-females in command and LGBTQ sailors on the attack subs. 'Cuz historical accuracy is important.
:haha:
This new one should go straight to DVD. :yeah:

Agreed! And if they bring back Alec Baldwin he will probably put a real torpedo in the tube and the movie set would be blown to bits.
Red Storm Rising the TV series is, on the other hand, a great idea! But I fear ET2SN is right about the new standards in filmmaking. :haha:
Anyway, it would probably be all CGI. As is the norm nowadays. I think back to classics like "The Final Countdown", and what was possible back then. I have long thought Martin Sheen actually would have been a good Robert Toland, the analyst roles being kinda similar.
Oh, and with Roy Scheider as "Duke" Ellington, Gene Hackman as "Beagle" Edwards, Kurt Russel as Edward Morris, Burt Lancaster as General Eugene Robinson and Walter Gotell as Mikhail Sergetov. Squeeze in Steven Berkoff in a Soviet role.
I too would love to see a making of Red Storm Rising as series.
