A great singer and actor has left us.

Who doesn't remember her in Xanadu and Grease

I'm very sorry to hear to hear of the loss of Olivia Newton John. Although Olivia was a talented actress and songstress, she did so much to bring awareness to health issues like the Cancer she suffered with. Olivia started the Olivia Newton John Cancer Institute that explored various treatments for Cancer. She also started wellness centers to also help Cancer patients. Olivia leaves behind a rich legacy aside from her acting and music career.

Some footage from her teenage years "down here". For a small country... she was big.

RIP.

I'll post these 2 here and not the music thread as I feel they're more in the line of a tribute.

You have to turn the sound up on this one. She was already an established star.

Another one from her "Bandstand" days, with her good friend Pat Caroll.

Thank you for the links.
Sad to hear. She kind of had a radiating positive charisma, elegant and pretty.
And as Commander Wallace wrote she stimulated a lot of research about cancer.. as a girl friend of mine once wrote "cancer is an a$$hole".
Rest in peace Olivia.
