Bagging groceries, evidently not as easy as it looks

Sometimes, you just have to shake your head....


There I was, in the local grocery story picking up a few things. I had with me two shopping bags. One a foil lined insulated bag and the other a plain unlined bag. The stuff I bought would easily fit into two bags.


Usually, I bag my own groceries, but they had this perky older teen bagging.


It was interesting watching her put all my frozen stuff in the non-insulated bag and all my canned and boxed food in the insulated bag.



I debated saying something. but decided not to embarrass her. Perhaps a supervisor was watching. Besides it only took me a moment to pull my cart aside, after I paid, and repacked the two bags.


I guess bagging groceries is really not an entry level position after all.


Who knows, she may grow up to be someone's doctor or a Member of Congress.

What kind of perky? An energetic kind of perky or, that nice, firm, well formed kind of perky you want to nibble on?

I'm proactive with my groceries. I'll tell them, even the perky ones, beforehand "Please bag my tortillas separately from my bag of frozen food as I don't want moldy tortillas." I don't give them the chance to mess up.
