Free speech yes-However a person also have some responsibility in what the person say or write.

Personally I think the fine he got was way to little.

In an emotional closing argument Friday, Lewis and Heslin's attorney Wesley Todd Ball said to the jury, "We ask that you send a very very simple message, and that is, stop Alex Jones. Stop the monetization of misinformation and lies. Please."

The January 6th investigation will likely get their hands on the phone texts as well.

Then Jones has several other related lawsuits ongoing as well. Free speech does have consequences.

Now if they would just hold the Big Network News to the same standards?

And who is "they"? Jones was sued and lost so maybe someone should sue big network news. Oh wait, they are.

People really need to understand that Freedom of Speech does not mean immunity from the consequences of that speech.
