In SH4, with a Balao-class sub in March 1943, I can order sonar reports but cannot use the sonar equipment myself at the station. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob Jacobsen

If you go to the sonar station, and push 'home' or 'end' does the indicator rotate?
Can you use the the mouse to click on a direction on the gauge? The indicator should move around to where you clicked.

those two ways should make it work.

Thanks! The mouse doesn't work (clicking just toggles the view rotation/drag function), but "home" and "end" get the job done. I appreciate the tip!

Besides the "Home" & "End" keys... your mouse... provided you have 1, with a wheel... that wheel should work to rotate the sound head, while you're in the view of being the sonar operator's position.

If you had clicked outside of the sonar display, even if you're not holding down the mouse button, the screen does get dragged.
And as Mad Mardigan says.. the scroll wheel works well for fine tuning...I just learned that today,Thanks Mad.

Another great tip. It works! Thank you both.

CapnScurvy made a fix for that balao manual mouse click movement problem, you'll find it at this link.
