Kicked from La Spezia !!

Hi everyone !

I haven't been on the forum for a while, but still sinking stuff !!

I just started a new campaign in La Spezia (had to try the Med) in 1941 if I am right.

First patrol was great, sunk a bunch of merchants, almost no air patrols, etc ..
I return to ''home base'' after this initial success and surprise, surprise... I am now in Brest !! (December 1941)

I try to re-locate to La Spezia and obviously it is ''request denied''.

I guess it is a bug (playing vanilla) since I did not ask for a transfer and I know the 29th flotilla is in the Med at least up to 1943.

Any clues about what is going on ?!

Arrghh !!

Never mind folks, got my answer...

Re-loaded that game and realize I got a ''message received'' saying my flotilla is re-located to Brest.

I will return to the Med after a few patrols apparently. :wah:

Hello E.Rohart;
Are you using SH3 Commander to start your careers? If not you should. It gives you options to pick a flotilla for the year of your career time frame.
Of Course, this only works while in-port between patrols.

If you are playing with the GWX Mod you cannot start a Mediterranean Career until October of 1941. That will start you in Salamis in Southern Greece. The base is changed to La Spezia in May of 1942 and changes again to Toulon in September of 1943.

If you are trying to start a Career earlier than 10/41 in the Med the game may just auto move you to a base/Flotilla that is available at the date you set in France.

I don't know how stock SH III works in this regard, but I fancy it's the same.
