i assume you are playing DW because i do not remember seeing Greek ships in the Pacific.
what date was the sinking?
if it was before late-October/mid-November 1940, Greece was neutral, with Allied leanings.
After that time, Greece was in the Allied camp and its main claim-to-fame was that it sucked up military resources from Italy, first, and then Germany ,later.

Yeah DW, I don't understand how a ship who is firing on me is neutral, The orders from OKW are so confusing. Don't fire on that ship, you can fire on that ship if it's in a convoy with british escorts ect ect, Hitler basically tied one hand behind the skippers back. Just found it weird a ship firing on me is neutral after I fire back. and it counts against me. I'll check the date next time I play, sep or aug 40 it is.

Maybe he misidentified you? A little imagination makes this scenario work beautifully. You should have just dived the boat.

I think you just looked shady and he was taking no chances.

Depends on the date. The radio has a doc attached to it showing nations and their dates of neutrality etc.

I have a mod to clean up some issues/errors and add missing things to DW, this includes correcting neutrality dates

've also had negative reaction from allied friendly "neutral" forces in area of attacks on Allied aligned vessels and/or detection by aircraft.
