It starts to look as if this will not be so quickly forgottena gain as initially was assumed. So here is some starting material to get you up to date.

Stunning is that the outbreak of the monkeypox began even before Covid-19 - and in the end already began in the early 1970s.

This was not nice done to Skybird, who tried to make a more serious discussion about Monkey Pox.
(Don't take it so hard on what I wrote)

I guess that's a fair comment, Markus. I think they ought to have called it simian flu or something like that - monkeypox was just asking for jokes

Still not dramatic.

And with that all the sheep scurry back to their basements to ride out the next made up pandemic. :yeah:

Doesn't seem to be that great a number....unless they're only for the political elite :hmmm:

We have four cases of Monkey Pox here in Denmark.

Furthermore there are People here in Denmark who want the health authorities to choose another word than Monkey Pox-since it's, according to them, a racist word-They say when people hear or read this word they think of Africa and Africans.

I suppose they want The 'Black Plague' renamed also.

I suggest 'Non-Racial/Species specific Plague'
Wouldn't want to piss off Rat Lovers.
