I have finished the second issue of my magazine and I want to share it with you.

Age of Bronze History, Volume 2, Summer 2022 - digital historical magazine in PDF format. The history of the cradle of human civilization on 43 pages.

Bronze was the first artificial material. The Bronze Age turned the small settlements of the Fertile Crescent into the first civilizations. Sumerian and Egyptian, Canaanite and Hittite, Minoan and Mycenaean and other cultures made history in the IV-II millennium BCE in the Bronze Age.

Our magazine will tell you about ancient times, when the Egyptian pharaohs sought to surpass the grandiose buildings of their predecessors, the Sumerian scribes wrote epic legends about the exploits of Gilgamesh, the Minoan ships moved goods and ideas between countries and peoples.

We will tell you about our common past and the heritage of all humanity, we will tell you about the Age of Bronze:

- Lothal - the port of the Indus civilization
- The deadly diet of ancient Egyptian gods
- Aegean bronze daggers and swords
- Mesopotamia. Tokens are the first numbers for the first accounting
- Bird-headed demon from the Oxus civilization
- Minoans. Was Knossos the capital of Crete?

Wow. This looks like quite a project and undertaking. I would be interested in knowing what inspired you to write about bronze and this time period.

Thanks for sharing. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

I am a historian and have been writing about the Bronze Age for about 20 years. Thus, I take a break from other projects and try to draw attention to this interesting period for me. Of course, doing all this alone is difficult, but no one limits the subject.

There is no bronze in nature. In nature, there is native gold, silver, and even meteoric iron, but bronze became the first artificial composite material.

Thanks for Sharing. Your post gave me a beautiful memory-When I was young I got two history books from my Uncle-The first was Denmark before and after stone age book number 2(it was number xx in the series) was from 1930-1945

They were in a series about Denmark. 20 or was 26 books in all from book 1 Before stone age to book number 20/26 Modern age(1980 I think the series ends)

It was The Danish Historian Hammerich who wrote this Denmarks chronicle

I tell you I have been looking like an..but they are impossible to get my hand on them.

Fabulously attractive presentation and a period I've always been interested in (living as I do in East Anglia)
