German belongs to Central Europe and Poland to Eastern Europe, same goes for Finland.

We do have a psychological bound with the Baltics.

...finally! In the back of my head, I recalled a controlled crash on the moon's dark side but couldn't find it after viewing long lists of "all sattellites launched after 2010" etc. 2013 really narrowed it down. My voluminous research has concluded 2 things: I know more about satellites than I want to...and we've got a lot of junk up there...particularly when Chinese satellites smash each other creating dangerous particles traveling at high speed!??:timeout: I have a new puzzle shortly..

Jimbuna
08-13-24, 10:51 AM
Well that last one is the longest running yet and quite possibly also the most clues given.

Rat rod?

Catfish
08-22-24, 03:31 AM
@Markus: This construction is from 1907 or 8, not sure, I think the engine was fitted in 1914(?). Info is hard to come by.
The company was founded before WW1 and they sold their constructions until 1925.

@Buddahaid: Not a rat rod (though at that time one might have called it that), it is indeed quite original. Drives like hell though or so it is told :D

Hint: the company built very light cars, engines came from other companies.

Very indirect other hint:

I had the impression that some english people think they do not belong to Europe, or at least they prefer not to .. sorry for the fuss
So it is british-built.

From the Wiki, company of "GN":
"H.R. Godfrey (1887-1968) and Archibald Frazer-Nash (1889-1965). Production ceased in 1923 but the company kept trading until 1925."

And the JAP company of J. A. Prestwich:

This was basically a cycle cart with a prototype 5.x litre aircraft engine shoehorned into the tiny frame:
