Markus
It has wheels but is not a vehicle in itself.

Zuzana howitzer?
Jimbuna
06-28-23, 04:31 AM
Was it designed as a howitzer?
No, not at all.
CLUE: Has Soviet origins.
Jimbuna
06-28-23, 04:33 AM
Zuzana howitzer?
Not that one either :)
CLUE: Not self-propelled and of a smaller calibre to that of the above.
Catfish
06-28-23, 02:15 PM
Not a howitzer, not self-propelled, "smaller" towed artillery with a smoothbore barrel.
The "D-30" has always been russian, if used by a lot of other nations, and it is a "howitzer".
The "MORTAR M12 120 mm" has a too big calibre for what Jim said.
Hm.
I do not find anything like this here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_equipment_of_the_Slovak_Army
Are you sure it was invented, built and is being used by Slovakia :o
Jimbuna
06-29-23, 03:25 AM
Not precisely Slovakia.
CLUE: Think of the original country.
Aktungbby
06-30-23, 09:20 PM
122 mm 2A18 howitzer?(D-30)
Jimbuna
07-01-23, 04:51 AM
Nooooo why a howitzer? Four or five posts up I said it wasn't.
CLUE: Similar in nature to the function of a howitzer....Soviet origins....built by a country that no longer exists.
Ostfriese

It was an experimental project and built. I am not sure whether it flew in Germany. There is one photo that maybe shows it taking off, but it could well be a very similar-looking jet after the war. Hint: experimental in the USA.
