Problem with Attack Periscope zoom

Hello Gentlemen,

I have recently did a new install of SH3 from Steam and moded it with GWX3. Gold. I also use SH3 Commander 3.2 to launch the game. All works well except when using the Attack periscope I can not get the periscope view to zoom. I have no problem zooming the Observation periscope. Any suggestions on a fix.

Hi Tom Moore does your mouse have a mouse wheel if so push wheel away from you to zoom scope.

If you're using the sabotage and malfunctions part of Commander, such a problem is part of them at random times.

Gentlemen,

Thank for your replies but the problem persists. I have started 3 new careers, 1 with sabotage- malfunction turned off, and no luck! Is there a mod that might correct the problem? :k_confused:

I solved my problem by disabling the sabotage feature of SH3 Commander as you suggested. Thanks for the help.

Glad you found the cause. If you ever decide to re-use that feature and want things to happen more often or less often, see the randomized events.cfg file in the Commander cfg folder on how to adjust it.
You can even completely delete the parts you don't want, while keeping others, if desired.
