Using hydrophones

Other than walking to the hydrophobic station, is there a way to use the hydrophones? Just like I can see the naps, and control the boat, can I see the hydrophobic screen?

Depending on your difficulty settings the map will show sound contacts.

Other than the above, you can just use officer command menu to order your hydrophone operator to give you bearings, ranges etc. to contacts.

in real navigation I do miss a hotkey which tasks the officer at the hydrophone with doing a hydro sweep at a very specific point in time.
Saw some videos on YT which had that feature - I think it was key "I"m but does not work.
Any idea how to get that done?
