Oh the drama. Oh the pathos.
Poor dog, now sits in a hidden KZ and waits to get gassed together with all the many other mask offenders.
Serious. The pandemic situation sucks, but a Santa actor can be a spreader or superspreader like anybody else. He knew the rules and thought he stood above them. He faces the consequences. End of story.
No, not even a drama. Just pathos.

When two officers saw a woman in the street and the woman pulling a 2 meters long christmas tree behind her with quite some effort due to knee surgery she has had, they stopped and left their car, ran to her and then carried the tree for her to her place where she lived. For pure helpfulness.

Well within social distance minimums and not a one of them wearing a mask. Was that before or after they arrested Santa Claus?

Santa Claus's corpse is bundled in the tree's twigs, and on the way to be silently disposed.
Santa is no more, he's been gone for years now
And I'm the one to blame I shot him down with a Stinger missile.
Oh man what a sight seeing Santa going down in spiral while fire coming out of his butt.

He was arrested for not showing his ID. Nothing to do with his mask.

CLAIM: Santa was arrested at a Christmas market in Germany because he wasn’t wearing a mask.
THE FACTS: A man in a Santa costume was detained by police at a Christmas market in Stralsund, Germany, but police said it was because he refused to show identification at an unregistered protest against vaccine mandates, not because he wasn’t wearing a mask. A video circulating on Twitter shows a man dressed like Santa being escorted out of a Christmas market in Germany. The video is accompanied by claims on social media saying he refused to wear a mask. A statement issued by the Stralsund Police said that authorities responded late Monday to a report of an unregistered gathering at the ‘Old Market’ square in Stralsund, where about 65 people had gathered and “appeared to be voicing their opinion on the current coronavirus measures and a vaccine mandate.” Parliament last week approved compulsory vaccinations for health care professionals, but a general vaccine mandate isn’t in force. Officers asked participants to show their IDs, noting that the gathering wasn’t registered and therefore constituted a criminal offense for the organizer. The man dressed as Santa, who wasn’t working at the Christmas market, refused to provide his name to officers, according to the report, and pulled away as police escorted him out. The police statement said a complaint was made against the 47-year-old local man “on suspicion of resisting law enforcement officers,” among other allegations. He was released by police that evening after being identified. The incident is similar to another case elsewhere in Germany this month. A video claimed to show an elderly woman being detained by police because she didn’t have a vaccine passport. However, police said the woman, 80, was being briefly detained during an unauthorized protest because she did not provide German authorities with identification. Witnesses confirmed the police account. According to authorities, only IDs were checked on the scene, not vaccination passports.

Protestors don’t wear masks they also get arrested or detained if they are illegally protesting and refuse to identify themselves. A lot going here Santa Claus detained and later released once the new gestapo found out who this disobedient non mask wearing disruptor was. The investigation continues.
Yesterday Monday, there were crowds in Stralsund, Ribnitz-Damgarten and Bergen on Rügen in the evening hours, which led to police operations.
Around 6:00 p.m., about 65 people gathered with posters and candles at the Alte Markt in Stralsund without registration. They apparently expressed their opinions against the current corona measures and compulsory vaccination.
For this reason, the police officers of the Stralsund and Grimmen police (main) districts determined the personal details of those present. The background is that an unregistered assembly is a criminal offence under the Assembly Act for its head.
Among those present, there was also a person in a Santa Claus costume. The police were also surprised that Santa Claus did not comply with the law and also expresses his opinion with a poster. The 47-year-old Stralsunder was obviously an actor of the assembly. He was not employed as Santa Claus at the Christmas market there.
According to the current state of the investigation, he refused to give his name and should therefore be accompanied to the radio patrol car to establish identity. These actions were filmed by the others present and published on some social networks.
In the course of the further investigation, a complaint was filed against the 47-year-old German on suspicion of resistance against enforcement officers and insult.
After the identity of the man was known, he was released from police measures around 7:15 p.m. and is now at large again. Subsequently, it turned out that the 47-year-old is already suspected several times of having committed crimes against the Assembly Act in connection with corona-critical demonstrations.
Around 6:00 p.m., 22 people also met in Ribnitz-Damgarten and Bergen or around 4:30 p.m. about 100 people to express their corona-critical opinion. Criminal proceedings have also been initiated at these two locations and the criminal police are conducting further investigations.

I didn't say anyone was shot on the steps. Your wall of text doesn't support your statement that Santa was arrested for not masking up.
EDIT: Wrong thread. "One Proud Boy clown sentenced to 51 months after pleading guilty and agreeing to cooperate. Maybe the first domino."
Ah I see, he wasn't arrested for not wearing a mask but for not showingthem his papers.Yeah that's so much better.

Must you evade the point. It's their law and it's also law in some US states. The point is the original post's claim was false.

No it wasn’t false. Do you honestly think polizei would have suspected Santa Claus of being part of a protest had he been masked? I’d bet you dollars to donuts the FACT he was not masked was used by polizei to articulate their suspicions and investigate further.
Or do you really think polizei just confronted Santa Claus for grins?

I gave you the link to the official press release from Neubrandenburg Police Headquarters Stralsund
Again, What drew the police to Santa to begin and start asking question? It’s called reasonable suspicion. Namely he was not wearing a mask, his association and interactions with known protestors, and words he spoke. ALL facts and observations played a roll in what lead up to his so called ‘detention’. It’s what we in law enforcement call clues and open doors to further investigation..
The way AP makes it sound Santa went full on UFC when police just out of the blue asked for ID.

Nope,
Though I see little value in the story of Jesus’s divinity, miracles and murderous human sacrifice. Since those topics have through the ages only lead to deadly arguments between people. However like Thomas Jefferson I do find value in what he taught.
https://americanhistory.si.edu/jeffersonbible/
And yes, I have a copy.
But I still prefer drinking my home brew getting silly drunk and putting out my yule goat in the front yard instead of a nativity scene. :D
Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." —Thomas Jefferson, 1787
To Jefferson, no tradition was so sacred as to escape reconsideration in the light of new discoveries and the progress of knowledge. Jefferson viewed the Gospels through the lens of the Enlightenment, a flowering of scientific experiment and rational enquiry in the 18th century.
Reworking parts of the New Testament was an extension of his revolutionary spirit. Jefferson had challenged the authority of the monarchy, questioned the sovereignty of Parliament, and opposed aristocratic privilege in American society. He had drafted the Declaration of Independence, taken part in revisiting the laws of Virginia, and helped establish new legal principles and education institutions. In religion as in politics, he imagined liberating contemporary minds from inherited misconceptions and superstitions.
Staying OT
Erased it it was to much off Topic. Even though it had to do with Jesus and Christmas ?
