Just need to rant about something.
I've been writing reviews regularly for Amazon for more than seven years now. Always played by the rules, never received free products in exchange for a review, always wrote honestly, without hyperbole and without obscenity. I never wrote for financial gain, but mostly just because I enjoyed sharing my thoughts on products I'd purchased. Sure, I sometimes reviewed products I hadn't bought on Amazon, but I feel like what I said earlier still applies.
So, I woke up this morning to find out that Amazon had deleted nine of my reviews, and I'd lost almost 60 helpful votes in the process. No e-mail, no explanation, just boom, gone! Sent an e-mail to customer service asking what happened and if they can reinstate my reviews, but I'm not expecting an answer. There's so many dishonest reviewers on Amazon right now, I can't figure out why they'd go after me.
Ticks me off that my hard work can just vanish because of an arbitrary decision probably made by a machine. I've spent thousands of dollars on Amazon over the years, and they've just flipped me off for absolutely no reason. :nope:
