View Full Version : SH5 TWoS mega mod 2,2,24 save crusch every time

i install this mod on clear 1,2,0 ubisoft version.
And game crusch every time when i try to save when im on boat, no matter how far from other contacts. the same situation is in historical mission and campain.

But when i stray in base save works allways correctly.
when i click save game set black screen and exit to win

does it crash any other time beside on saving at sea

Its crasch allways when im in uboat no matter where uboat is. On bunker or open sea.
When i stay outside uboat in base save is correct and load too.
No crasch in other situations. This is my only one bug. I cant see nothing else.
Previusly i use older mega mod 2.2.5 and it works correct. But it was 2 years ago and on other pc. But there was the same version stock sh5 1.2.0

Which OS do you have what does your hardware look like?
Do you use any other mods next TWoS and which additional mods from TWoS do you have activated?

AMD Ryzen 5 3500X 6-Core Processor 3.60 GHz



now i have win10, i add only real navigation to this mod 2,2,24
i try run game witch win 7 or win 8 compatibility but its change nothing


i install clear new oryginal sh5 again and instal older mega mod 2,2,5 who works correctly in my older pc. Byt the result is the same. So i think something is wrong in my computer he is not sompatibilite witch this mods

Where did you install SH5 or under which path and drive? Have you tried the administrative mode under the properties of sh5.exe?

i install in C:\Silent Hunter 5
mod install in the same
i run game and installation as administrator

when i turn off antivirus for 2 min game save works correct on sea.

thats is very confused because when i save in port i dont neeed turn off antivirus!!!

I don't know why this happen but if you found out, that the antivirus is or can be the reason, than you just should set the SH5 folde or sh5.exe as exception there.

I had the same issue with the game purchased on Steam. For me this problem has disappeared by not launching the game with the shortcut icon created by Steam (Ex: steam: // rungameid / 48110). Maybe this has something to do with your problem.

Off antivirus works fine!
