^ The guns of Navarone. I'm thinking the actor was David Niven. The character was named Miller, I think. I don't remember the rank. Anthony Quinn and Gregory Peck starred in the movie as well.

^ Way to go, Jeff. I knew someone would get it as Val Kilmer was awesome and essentially robbed of an Oscar for his portrayal of Doc Holiday.

^ Good job. I don't think I will be able to stump you on these movie quotes. Paul Newman and Robert Redford had great chemistry in this movie and also the Sting.
Back to you, Arlo.

^ I'm thinking that is Steve McQueen in the great escape. I can't remember his character.
Also, in the Quentin Tarrantino movie, " Once upon a time in Hollywood " Leonardo DeCaprio played a scene in that movie in a German WW2 prisoner of war camp where he also said those lines.
I'm wondering if he was reprising that role in the great escape? :hmmm:
Let's see.
" the more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain. "

Yes. Capt. Virgil Hilts was his character. I think I know your quote but I'm opting out to give someone else a shot. :)

Right you are, Jim. However, Scotty was portrayed by the now deceased James Doohan. James himself distinguished himself in the military in WW2
