Most of us that are into navies regardless of nations often will overlook the Auxiliary force that helps keep the navies supplied.

This article details some of the history and roles in which the Royal Fleet Auxiliary undertake and how this quiet force helps keep the screws turning on warships around the globe.

The last two ships I was on when I did my duty in the Swedish navy was Auxiliary ships and boat.

The first was build to transport Torpedoes and missiles.
Second was a transporter boat-Transporting officers and workers.

The CGI looks like a point class RORO

But its good to see the Bay class getting a work out they are heavily used assets.

But the RN and RFA could use a COTS design to make a dedicated mother ship a bit like what the USN has done.

As a serving member of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, I would like to see more mention made in the media and in documentaries etc. Maybe replenishment at sea will feature in a future sim.

To be honest I don't think I have ever seen a documentary done on the RFA, and yes id like to see one.

People don't realize its the RFA that keeps the RN going and play a major part in every operation globally.

I would in my view help with recruitment that's for sure.
