Received the following enigma message today, the 1st of June 1941. Decrypted:
Agents rep liner departed New York for Liverpool

What the hell are they thinking? Is that coder complety doused in Champagne? Est one vvsl..... This is an outrage!
Have they hired Spanish Naval coders now?
Instead of sending me useful messages while they KNOW I am in the mediterranean they come up with these half garbled nonsense messages about targets I cannot even get to? And that is not all mind you! I also get possible target reports about convoys in the North Atlantic, while my range for useful contact reports in my radio room is set for 200Km, NOT 20.000 Km.
I am going to write a complaint about this to Dönitz himself! I cannot work like this!
