Submarine Combat Pin

Has anyone considered adding the Submarine Combat Pin as an award in the sim? Would be great if could award to crew after a successful patrol and Captain be awarded one for each successful patrol. We all know the awards were FUBAR from day one, I use a medals fix for TMO which does pretty well. Would be great to add the pin though. Beyond my skill set, just throwing it out there.

I've always liked the idea, problem being award criteria. Your first war patrol would earn you the pin and subsequent patrols would earn a gold star to put on the pin. If you could get the game to give that after every patrol it'd be great.

Same here. Missing from the sim is what was the most coveted award among US submariners. I believe criteria could be adjusted to award one to play for each successful patrol. Likely could not do the star for each subsequent but least would have the award. Of course have to make sure can award all crewmembers as well.

since the awards have been "fixed" in multiple and separate mods, it probably possible for someone to create the artwork-file for that pin and then substitute one of the other awards. however, i doubt that we could build a mod that allows second and third awards because that appears to be hardcoded and unmoddable(is that even a word?).
