Hi all,

I'm having an issue with GWX 3.0 using the resolution fix (the one available here on Subsim) on SH3. I'm sure many of the regulars know exactly what I mean.

When I use the mouse to rotate my view, when I try to come out of it, I get an issue with torpedoes launching.

I've been doing web searches for the past couple of hours and tried several different mods that are supposed to change the gui for the attack periscope/uzo but they don't seem to work. I've used the JSGME tool after extracting the files to the GWX 3 "MODS" folder to enable them but the GUI isn't changing. It's still the stock SH3 GUI and the torpedoes are still firing!

I tried OLC "gold" MKIIc mod but JSGME tells me that it will conflict with some other mods that I have installed (some of them part of the GWX mod itself.

I also tried TMT v2. This doesn't show any conflicts but it doesn't mod the GUI either.

I've also tried doing a windows search in the SH3 folder for any instances of "menu_1024_768.txt" and it keeps coming back empty. So it seems that fix is out of the window.

I've also tried lowering the resolution from 1080p to the suggessted 1600 x 1050 but then the game wouldn't load. It just black screened.

I also tried 1600 x 900 and that loads but still fires torpedoes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Further info is my activated mod list:

GWX Enhanced Damage Effects
GWX AXIS and med aircraft skins
SH5 water for SH 3
Improved damage textures (from subsim dl page)
GWX contact colours (I'm not ready for IDing every ship just yet)
MEP v6
Resolution fix (again from the subsim dl page)

Also noticed that the recommended res for the res fix is 1680 x 1050...it still launches the torpedoes though.

EDIT: OLC mod shows conflict with GWX enhanced Damage and GWX contact colours mods.
