Professor Eric Grove passes away

Just hearing the news now that one of the UKs most prominent naval historians professor Eric Grove has passed away aged 73

Condolences to his family he will be greatly missed

Very sad to hear. I heard him several times in history reports, films and videos, also very proficient in maritime future and strategy. Besides he seems to have been a wonderful colleague, as some have said.
Rest in peace.

(edit: he was to be seen a lot in german TV too, always very interesting and didactically well made)
