I do not watch Amazon TV and all those online things, but the series got release don DVd in Germany now, and I have ahd the first episode. And I must say I VERY VERY MUCH like what I see. The technical realisation is miles apart from the other series and movies, and I like the massive, well-founded speed of the narration, it takes its time and so far it feels as if this does good service to the story.
Is a second season planned? The box reads "Staffel Eins".
Anyone else knowing it, what did you think of it?

Saw it last year and loved it. Found it a bit slow to start, but once the season gets going, it is pure classic Star Trek.
I have never been a fan of TNG, seems to be a generation thing, I grew up with Kirk, so that is my Star Trek. One of my partners grew up with TNG so that is his fav. We have had discussions about which is better, since we are both Trekkies, but this show is very good.
I do not have Amazon tv, I can't tell if ST Picard is good or not.
I can only tell from a personal view on Star Trek in general-I will most likely like it.
I do not have CBS All Access, so even this new upcoming series
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
A series I would love to see Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
I can't be the only one who have been thinking
what could Pike tell us, which adventure has he and his crew been on ?
But I do not have CBS All Access.
I place my hope that these two series will be on Danish Netflix.

Sir Patrick Stewart eh?
One of my favourite actors, even sat on his table for an evening meal in my home town after he gave an inspirational speech on saving the NHS about twelve years ago.

Your memory is certainly better than mine.....I lost a very high number of past pictures when I experienced the melt down of a HD two or three computers ago and that picture will almost certainly be amongst those lost.
Since that point and especially since the arrival of my granddaughter, all pictures are now backed up on two separate external HD's
I have only knowledge about one movie where first contact between Human and Vulcans-Which toke place in Star Trek movie First Contact.
Even though I'm a trekkie I can have missed it.
But are there a series where we(the viewer)follow the development on Earth the first 100 years after this first contact ?
Earliest series I know is enterprise who take place around 2145. First contact was made in 2063
A timeline story between these two could be interesting.
Have not seen any series or heard about any

There are one or two fandom-financed and fandom-realissed internet film projects, I believe, but know nothing more on it. Its all internet-based TV, and I do not care for internet-based TV.
Jean-Luc Picard was devastated by the destruction of Data. A mechanical robot that he was in love with. He has now retired to the wine vineyards of the Plosie family in Southern California. And hollywood will somehow reunite Jean -Luc with some sort of robot. As for Patrick Stewart well every actor needs the love.
