Finally...I've done it!

So I've now clocked 17.3 hours in SH5 and I've finally sunk a merchant vessel while using full realistic/manual settings. My first torpedo missed but my second one just barely hit the stern and then she sunk after 10 minutes or so. It was very satisfying to say the least!

I tried for awhile to use Vanilla but too many things happen that make it frustrating to deal with so I switched over to Wolves of Steel. Now that I got the learning curve down I'll perfect my methods to be more accurate over time.

Anyways I just wanted to share my accomplishment. I'm sure we all remember the satisfaction of our first kill in the deep using full realistic settings. Happy hunting skippers!

wtg you will get better more you do it most of my shots is 1000m or less did one at 1500m but that was luck i guess also more you do it you be able to eyeball the speed

LOL! Yes, that has happened quite a bit on my boat. :haha:

Yeah, that is actually what happened. I eyeballed the speed which is why I missed the first shot. I think its 3:15/10 by three markers? I forget, which is why I eyeballed.
