In Steel Wolves the players takes control of the U-boat menace against Allied shipping. Yesterday I commenced this campaign. The year is 1939 September 1st week. We will see if we do better or worse than historical. There are monthly tonnage quotas to achieve and risks have to be taken. Although over the course of the game one becomes quite attached to the brave U-boats and crews. Losing them to Allied ASW, weather or accidents hurts a lot, both game-wise and personally.
If you want to pick a U-boat or Ace for yourself, feel free to do so. I can cover their adventures and eventual fate on the coming videos.. :up:
