Hello,

of course, this question is quite a bit stupid, but which file and parameter I need to change in order to change the submerged visibility of my sub?

I know, cheating is poor, but anyhow I'd like to know if there is a way..

Thanks.

Easiest way would be to disable the relevant options in the game menu.

You know, I like difficult games more than easier ones because if I win It's much more satisfying;
just don't cheat too much otherwise you'll get bored pretty quickly while playing ^^

I suggest to watch some of the threads that are on this forum about concealment and game mechanics, I got better thanks to them, I suggest you look after them too ^^

Hope you're having a nice day.

Thanks KarlFranz,

I agree, but tue to several application crashes, lost save games etc. I am nearly in the step to deinstall the whole thing.

Therefore my short-term satisfaction will come from "just sink anything and anyhow" :-D

thank you, mate.

Sorry, I chose the wrong word. I did not mean "visibility", I meant the recognition parameters, when a destroyer will detect you.

File you can easily edit. I suggest you make a JSGME mod folder to do so.
Via path data\cfg open the sim.cfg file.
In the "Hydrophone" section increase the "Waves Factor" to 1.0.
Decrease the "Noise Factor" to 0.10.
But before doing this, try what I suggested earlier in the games own options menu.
Post your mod list too.
There are a LOT (to many imo) of factors that go into detection.
