Custom voices

Hey guys, I am really enjoying the SH5 with marvellous mods.

I am curious are there any custom voice mods? The stock version voices are not much immersive and boring. If you see in Das Boot movies, when they say ALARM! they will shout it. Also, if they checking in hydrophone they will tell quietly. So I feel even though the game is so immersive the voices are not much real as in movies or true life.

Hello mate,

The best thing I did was to download Thomsen's excellent sound pack for SH3 and replaced the amb_submarine interior sounds. Now there's joking, muttering and a bit of cursing in the background when you're mapreading etc. The environment feels much more alive. There's an 'Alarm!' in there too - taken from Das Boot but I found it hard to get it to work on crash dive. It's on surface to periscope depth though.
