Recharge batteries option greyed out.

Hi! I have a problem with SH5 and the Wos mod. I have been able to order the chief to charge the batteries but after that the option (when talking to the crew chief) is greyed out. I have the boat surfaced. Any idea what can cause this?

Dude Forget it!!!!. Uninstall the game and Mod and play it in Stock version. WoS useless. I am not getting any help from others too.. It is dead dude. Better to stick with Stock version. Don't waste your time.

I and several others, and I mean SEVERAL, enjoy this without these bugs, and don’t share this opinion. The problem is between the chair and the keyboard.

And I can say, that I don't have any issue or bug with TWoS instead of bug from stock game or incompatible mods.

I really like it I must say, havent encountered any bugs so far. And must say I really appreciate the help Ive gotten in this forum... It definately doesnt seem dead to me.

only problem with twos i have had was my own screwups and i seen others trying to help you if you want go back to stock no skin off my nose either way

I found a workaround that works fine, by clicking the icons at the bottom of the screen, that works like a charm=)

Hi Nuggit, you mean the batter icon that shows the level? That did not help. My battery level is 25 and I am not sure how to recharge it.

If you move your mouse cursor to the middle of the bottom of the screen, a few icons pop up. With for example a periscope, a map and some other icons that I cant remember right away.
The one to the furthest left, if you press that, some smaller icons appear, one of them is a propeller if I remember correctly... if you press that, another list of icons appear, one of them is a battery. If you click that, the batteries will charge! (It takes a fair share of time to recharge them).

Also note that you need to be either surfaced or have the snorkel lifted.

Double check that you are not deck awash. Even if not, manually set your depth as close to zero as you can. Perhaps that will solve the problem.

ahhh I got it.. THank-you so much guys. I love you all and Silent Hunter series. I am so relaxed when I am playing.
