Mira Furlan of "Lost" and "Babylon 5" dead at 65

Babylon 5 and Lost actress Mira Furlan has died at the age of 65, her family and management have confirmed.

Furlan played Minbari Ambassador Delenn in the 1990s sci-fi TV drama, Babylon 5, and Danielle Rousseau in the noughties mystery drama, Lost.

Her family told the BBC the Croatian actress died on Wednesday due to complications with West Nile Virus.

"It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of Mira Furlan" the statement read.When I had to learn English, one of the most difficult words for me was "goodbye."
There is no corresponding word for "goodbye" in Minbari.
All our partings contain within them the possibility of meeting again: in other places, in other times, in other lives.
So you will excuse me if I do not say "goodbye."

Seems a bit harsh Dave, I find nowhere that she did other than good, and I failed to find any info about her "injecting herself" with the virus. From what I read she's been battling the disease for years. :hmmm:

I meant infected, not injected! I guess I did not use the right words, what i meant is she got an infection (is that the right saying?) with the west nile virus, meaning she got it like yo get the flu or anything, certainly not willingly.
