Couple of problems (three actually)

First : How do I delete saved games ? Another question : How do I see a running torpedo ? And this one REALLY has me stumped. After several missions, My home base was moved from Pearl Harbor to Bisbane , Australia, but after I completed the objectives and returning to Bisbane, I was only allowed to refit, not end the mission. Pearl Harbor won't let me dock either. How do I end the mission ? Any help would be GREAT !!

First : How do I delete saved games ?
you delete saved games from within SH4. you should see LOAD and SAVE from the same menu option. Choose SAVE and select the save you wish to delete and then click delete at the bottom of that screen.


Another question : How do I see a running torpedo ?
Turn on Event Camera. i think it is actually a negative option, like No Event Camera. in any case, UNCHECK the option.

Which version of SH4 are you playing?
What mod set (if any) are you playing? If you are playing a mod set, just paste in the JSGME mod list.
Clearly, you started your career in Pearl, which boat did you select and what was the start date?
how many missions did you complete before the one that left you homeless?

Also you can delete saved games by going to the saved game folder which is located in your PC's Documents folder. This is especially useful if you've saved dozens of games and want to delete them en masse:


C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME HERE\Documents\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames

there are two sets of Gameplay options.

one set is for Single Missions and War Patrols. That is on the main screen.

if you start a career, there is another set of the same Options. be advised that these are reset every time you start a new career when you choose your Difficulty level on the Career Start Screen.
If you are playing German, click on the File Cabinet in the far right side of the screen when you are at your home base.
if you are playing US, click on the Radio Set that is on the book shelf on the left of the screen when you are at your home base.
