War!? Here is my hope there will not be any new war.

Here is something which is most certain.

In 2021 some famous person will leave us.
There will be earthquake, Political scandal somewhere in the world.

Biden will begin to get heat from the radical lefties in his party to throw open the borders and make everything free. He (being controlled by the Dem Party) will stall and resist and the Dems will devolve into a tragic/farcical comedy. As usual.

Germans will regret being dependent on Mother Russia for fuel.

Clint Eastwood... well, he is pretty old.

The Wuhan virus will continue to be a pandemic but by the end of the year, maybe, hopefully, begin to decline.

The media, not being allowed to criticize Biden, will continue to report everything Trumpo does and says, so they will have something to do and someone to rake over the coals, so I guess the first prediction goes to hell.

I hope for some occasional cosmetic nicenesses, from time to time, at best, but the general trends are based on inner and deep rooting dynamics that know only the direction formed by the greater scheme of what afterwards will get called "history". Its impossible to be optimistic anymore. To have the power and class and greatness to stick to one's principles and that of the occidental culture while the world we knew around us collapses, hoping to be recalled by other, later generations who will not live before we who are alive today have long since passed, must suffice. More is not in it for us anymore. Rome is on fire. We live in the time of the Western cultures Götterdämmerung. No use to run anymore, there is no refuge for us anymore.
Composure is the only thing that makes what lies ahead of us bearable. Composure, and the unbreakable determination to not give an inch on what is right and separates it from the wrong. We will get overhwhelmed, we cannot win this fight anymore, the battle is lost, the war as well.

A part of me feels that the Covid pandemic is just a swan's song describing what more and more of us have somehow felt deep inside of us already before: that what we call the normality of the pre-pandemic time was no longer sustainable anyway, and will not come back, like a house that burnt down will not still stand there when the smoke screen has been blown away by the wind. I very strongly feel so. And honestly said, it can feel like a relief. Because the deformations in the culture and civilization we have created in the past years and decades in the West, to me more and more felt unbearable and untolerable, rotten and poisonous like a cancer that had already overwhelmed the body.
