A Bavarian innkeeper has responded to the closure of bars in Germany due to the coronavirus by opening a drive-thru Christmas market, complete with artificial snow that falls as customers drive by. Emily Wither reports.
Well, this Christmas will differ in many ways flexible solutions are requirements.

With COVID-19 still in the air, many 2020 Christmas markets in France have been canceled. Cancellations were announced early for the Christmas Markets in Lille, Lyon, Bordeaux and Clermont Ferrand. The market in the Tuilerie Gardens in Paris has also been canceled.
The cancellation of the Strasbourg Christmas Market was announced on October 22nd.
As of mid-October, decisions were still awaited for Colmar and other Paris Christmas markets - but it seems likely that many more will be called off.
Even if they are not canceled, 2020 Christmas Markets will lack the traditional festive atmosphere, with visitors likely to stay away in droves and stall-holders wary of taking an economic hit.
Welcome to SubSim Tim.
I remember when I resided in mainland Europe I would often go to such markets in Holland, Germany and Belgium but sadly, I never got to France.
