I started re-reading the Master and Commander series last week. Best literary fiction I've ever read. I was most pleased and surprised to come across the Lubber's Hole podcast, an in-depth analysis of each novel by two very knowledgeable chaps.

These two learned coves dissect and review each book with thoughtful care and are excellent at explaining some of the more nuanced writing of Patrick O'Brian.

Enjoy! :Kaleun_Salute:

^ thanks for posting, will look at it.

I love the series, especially because a lot of sailing details of those square riggers is explained, in a 'sideway' easy and enjoyable fashion.
