Hi everyone.
I'm not good at intro things so excuses if this is brief in content. I am semi-retired 60-something in Manchester UK. I love simming in general and although I do a lot of flight simulation, I have an interest in sub sims because of the stealth gameplay. I have to admit, though, I haven't done a great deal of it. My first was Red October and then Red Storm rising. Enjoyed them mightily. I did want 688(i) Hunter Killer but my pc specs weren't up to it. I see the game is on Steam, is it worth getting - I suppose 20-plus years late would be better than never ;)
Currently I am learning UBoat. My fixation with that is because of the crew micro-management, the 'Sims in a Sub' suits my immersion level. Cold Waters is on my 'perhaps' list, but you don't have any leaving port or any other non-essential 'flavour' content I love.....
What was that I said about not being good with intros?
