This has been in the news here in Denmark.

Some of my friends have written

Now it's only a matter of time before Scotland Yard arrest Prince Andrew.

Can they do that-Go up to Buckingham Castle, knock on the door and arrest Prince Andrew on spot ?

Or are they like the Royal here in Denmark and Sweden-Above the law ?

In Denmark, it's only the Queen who can remove another royalist immunity
In Sweden it's only the King who can do the same(If I'm correct)

Here is the English version of it.

The papers released by a court in New York say the alleged encounter took place on the late US financier’s private island in the US Virgin Islands. A document claims Epstein instructed the girl, referred to as Jane Doe #3, but known to be Virginia Roberts Giuffre, to “give the prince whatever he demanded and report back to him on the details of the sexual abuse”.

much more complicated than that.

first he would have to be charged in a US Court and then the US would ask the UK to extradite him.

Personally, I doubt that would ever happen, the only real evidence they have so far are the claims by Virginia Giuffre and her credibility is weak. She has been shown to have lied about some of her claims of who she slept with. I don't doubt Andrew probably had sex with her, but the evidence is not strong enough to justify extradition.

I would not advise him to travel to the US though. :ping:
