I am running Windows 10 64 Bit version 2004.
The problem started prior to the update, but I hadn't played SH4 in quire a while and the sound problem is shared with IL-2 1946 (all versions that I have installed).
I have Corsair Void RGB 7.1 surround sound wireless headphone using the latest iCue software. In both of these games when I start a mission the surround sound is working as designed. After about 10 seconds in IL-2 and about 3 seconds in SH4 the rear sounds disappear while I look straight ahead. The sounds come back (temporarily) once I turn my head (POV) in either direction, but they go away once I look forward.
Windows 10 is showing my headphones as an 8 channel device and tests correctly when I click test. I also play Hell Let Loose (only have these three games on this machine) and I haven't been able to tell if I am losing the rear sounds in it, yet, because there is so much sound and activity going on. There is no offline mode to be able to test it.
