SH3 with GWX crashing at random

Hi, I absolutely love SH3 and GWX however my game crashes in game at random intervals making it very difficult to play especially when I've wracked up a good amount of tonnage and then lose it all because the game crashes or the saves become corrupted at some point during the career mode.

I'm running the game via steam, up to date drivers, up to date GWX, minimal mods (still crashes without any additional mods), windows 10 64bit.

I've scoured forums for the last two years and tried many fixes but ultimately I end up giving up with the game out of frustration. Every 6 months or so I try again (usually after watching das boot the film or series). If anyone has any recommendations or ideas on a fix I'd be so grateful.

Hi Alexa, have you activated the 4GB patch?
It will give you more RAM dedicated to this game :yep:
(Hence avoid crashing)

Also right click the SH3 launch icon and set it to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode and always as Administrator.

And check or put your anti virus program in passive mode before starting the game ...
