Ubisoft not available

... so I can't play!

What with the utter complexity of which mods to download. Now when I try to play I get an error message saying Ubisoft isn't available.

It's probably all too much for an oldie like me.

Nice to meet you all - even if it was only a couple of hours.

I run SH5 with TWoS, and I have a Uplay version. I assure you that it does work. Can you provide some details? What did you do? What mods have you tried to add?

Assume you are running the Steam version? Had that issue myself. If you have a Uplay account log into that then run the steam version and it will work

I know this sounds a bit weird but I can't find it on my PC nor the 3 other games I bought from them yesterday. So I've no idea what version it is.
It seems to run from their website!!

The problem looks to be with the updater - it is set to update automatically & theirs no way I can turn that off. So every time I try to run it it stops at the upload & goes no further - so I can't launch the game so I can't run any mods.

Finally found it & it is running v1.2

I also managed to get a uplay a/c & was able to launch the game. However it went straight into a video - no sound & not great quality - but there was no way to do anything from there. But after a short time the video crashed & the same thing happens every time.
