Is there anyway to put out a fire onboard, I was playing as a ship, one of my life boats caught fire, no other damage to the ship, but this thing keeps burning?

What if anything do you have on your ship administration Damage control page?

How long has it been burning?

Yes I have a damage team but there is nothing showing that needs repairing.

Fire has been burning for around 30 - 40 mins.

Not sure how to deploy the lifeboat, didn't think of that.

A left over of the stock damage zones for surface ships, fire wasn't modeled into SH3/4 like it was in 2. Don't remember if it will burn itself out or not but you can't put it out.

There is a mod for SH3 where a vessel on fire degrades to being destroyed.

So it seems you are right nothing in the sim relating to putting out a fire, I wonder if someone who is a lot more skilled than me can do a fire extinguishing mod lol, or where a fire can burn out if it is not too severe?
