This Edge browser of mine has decided it wants to autoplay the next video in The SUBSIM Music Thread, its also doing the same with any other youtube video on this site. YouTube doesn't do it and niether does any other site I've been on today, it started happening today for no apparent reason, is this happening to any other Edge users.

I also noticed the automatic playing of the next video in the 'tube with Edge yesterday, i just thought it was a new Google "feature" (It is hard to decide whether what they do is a feature or a bug).

Edge has indeed a lot of issues, it has been said to be withdrawn entirely, but now it seems there are still updates. As we know updates do not make things better, especially in Win 10.
Firefox or Chrome are both better, then there is Opera and the Epic browser.

I have erased my long comment. Because it derailed the origin of this thread.
My technical problem with this forum is an another story.

^Hey Mr Squirrel stop being a sheep and get back to being a tree rat. :O:

Edge has gone back to how it used to behave, it was probably just a glitch, Microsoft are well known for them. :yep:

I believe that you can turn off the autoplay feature or turn it back on. Left click on the three horizontal dots on the right end of the top task bar. Then left click on the site permissions. Scroll down to autoplay and set it to allow or limit. You just need to look around a bit to figure out the new settings.
Nothing wrong with MS Edge. I'm using the newer version now.

Wasn't Edge going to be using Googles Chromium engine to display webcontent?

Yeah: https://support.microsoft.com/nl-nl/help/4501095/download-the-new-microsoft-edge-based-on-chromium

No word about Chromium on the download/product description page though. Mind the look of the icon to differentiate.

Microsoft has completely rebuilt their Edge browser using Chromium source code developed by Google.

^ After the last two updates I've had Microsoft giving me the hard-sell to switch, but this video satisfies me that I've been right to bypass it
