ship name in note book??

guys thanks in advance for anwser here: Is there some way that the note book can be used to secure the name of a target ship from the F-3 key view??? I have seen a few comments to this effect can anyone help?

Click on the word "ship" on your notepad and it will open the recognition manual to the ship in question.
