SH3 Crashing with GWX Thread #78276

So, despite there being many of these threads, I appear to need to start another....

I have:
- A clean install of SH3 (from Steam)
- Compatibility set to Windows 7

This works fine, I can play a career etc.

- Add GWX3 Gold
- Add 4GB Patch

It loads SH3, but crashes at about 90% when I start to load a mission (Career or Single).


Help appreciated! I'm on the verge of binning the GWX3 mod and just running Vanilla SH3 to be honest, as I've spent a few evenings trying to get it to work!

Problem most likely STEAM updating your game and conflicting with JSGME.
It is recommended to convert your STEAM game when playing a modded game.
STEAM will also install into the Program Files (x86) directory which has restrictions.

The 4GB patch allows to use more RAM memory (4GB instead of 2) for your application.
Otherwise it CTD.
