No target speed and range in windows 10 - ok in Windows 7

I have just installed SH III on my computer with windows 10. Cannot get any target speed or range in the notepad with or without target lock. Also do not get the yellow triangle in the periscope when the target is in the crosshair.

Loaded the same game into a Windows 7 computer and there all works fine. Any ideas how to solve this problem.

Check your settings. Is manual targeting enabled or disabled?

Where do I find settings for this in SH III. I can only see "Options" in Main Menu screen and there I can only change video and sound.

Hi Brazzi Fire up a Single player mission then change your realism settings
for game difficulty

blackswan40 - Thanks, that worked. I did increase realism to "Hard" but did not notice that affected the auto targeting. Thanks for the "heads up" on this.

Thanks for the welcome. Lost interest in PC games and sank to the bottom - went for PS - decided to surface and start sailing the seas and hunt again. PS does not have any sub games.
