I had a dear friend once... now sadly departed... who was obsessed with vampire lore. He lived in a strange world in his own head for sure... inebriated much of the time... and as we made our unsteady way home from the pub at nights, he used to drone on about this particular movie. Chiefly, I suspect, because of the presence of the doomed actress Sharon Tate and her well-rounded companions

I've grown to love this movie (Moira falls asleep whenever I put it on... "It's so cosy"). Maybe it's just become like a cult thing now, or maybe because it reminds me of dear old Louis

^ Great film by Polanski, really should see it again :)

I recently stumbled over the next video when looking for the "Who - what - where" thread where i asked for the "Lexx" (which Jim instantly found by Google picture reverse search :wah: :03:). From the comments "Lexx is what happens when TV producers do shrooms instead of cocaine". This episode is not from the old/initial series with Eva Haberman unfortunately:

One of the most 'entertaining' vampire movies but to be fair there were many more and I also particularly liked those early ones with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.

More recently I also watched and rated titles such as Underworld, Van Helsing and the From Dusk Till Dawn movies.
