Let me first say I love this model and I'm not knocking the guy who made it in any way.

My question is, do big ships like this slow down a lot when turning?

I can a get a good speed going straight but as soon as I start a turn it slows down a lot, the harder the turn the slower it goes.
I know it is a bit heavy ship and not a DD that can turn very fast but if under attack and the need to turn makes it almost a sitting duck.

I was under attack recently but took a fair bit of damage because of this, so is that something I have bare using a big ship, forgive my ignorance on this subject lol?

I got it here, I tried it in a mission but it was partly submerged, then I learned it has to go in a career.

I tried this ship twice now in career mode and twice I got a CTD after downing about 6 aircraft.
Shame it was working great, plus a bit annoying after spending a few hours then a crash, any ideas please?

Did you empty the Save folder after activating the mod? Usually "C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4". :salute:

I started with a new SH4 folder in my documents but yes there was a saved games folder but that was empty.

Just checked that saved games folder, it wasn't for SH but Microsoft games.

I tried the other mod on that page, the KRMEL and that did the same, after I shot down a few aircraft.
Wonder if the fault lies with the AA, it was on autofire not me shooting.

Just re-read your post, does it matter if I delete the SH4 folder before or after I activate the mod, I may have done it before?

Technically, no, it should not matter, just so long as you do not play the game prior to playing with the mod activated. The game re-creates the Save folder as soon as you run the game. The game copies a lot of itself to the Save folder and runs off of that information. If you change mods, the game does not copy over files that already exist, and you then end up with a mix of what you had before, and what you have now... :salute:
