A couple of weeks ago I came across a YouTube video of someone playing Silent Hunter 3. It seemed like fun so I looked it up on Steam and saw that there was a discount so it was only€1.67... how could I say no to that price?


Since then, I've been playing when I can. Got myself GWX, SH3 Commander and ARB Wide GUI and it's been working great so far.

Based on my performance so far I've created a headcanon that my skipper has to be married to some admirals daughter and he wants his son-in-law gone because no one would give this hapless guy the command of anything larger than a rowboat.

The admiral got his wishes, my skipper got lured into shallow waters by two tempting merchants and then when the destroyer escort showed up in the fog there wasn't any room under the keel to hide in. :wah:
