I hope she died peacefully.
I liked her on the Avengers. Among the first TV role models for women.

Very sad about this one, especially since Moonlight put her in Lechers' Corner last month. At least it wasn't the bloody virus

Sad news.
She had a tough childhood. Strict father who offered her a choice of "either a bike or acting lessons for your birthday and by golly you'd better make the right choice".
She took acting lessons, and at the time hated it. But looking back saw it was the right choice.
She got some iconic roles :- Pussy Galore, early Avengers, "Jason and the Argonauts", the 1983 BBC production of Offenbach's " Orpheus in the Underworld" where she played ( and sang ) Juno to Dennis Quilley's Jupiter. I loved it ( still do ) but the Opera snobs panned it ( screw 'em... what do they know ).
Much loved and appreciated.
RIP.

Although I didn't know her name at the time, I was very familiar with her work on Avenger and Bond movies reruns.
Rest in peace.
