WOT--how do you buy non-premium tanks?

I'm trying to buy tanks from the tree. how do you do that.:k_confused:

You go to tech tree -> search the tank you want to buy -> click on its pricetag ( if you have enough money) -> a dialog will be shown asking for the crew proficiency -> click what you want/can afford ->click buy -> finished


At least thats the steps i take to buy a new tank.
