Hallo folks -
Deep into the British Supplies mission, and I'm comfortable enough back with the game that I turned off "update on map" in options. Quite frankly, it gets boring quick, seeing an enemy ship's info just sitting there.
That's no issue. What IS an issue is the loss of the hydrophone contact lines - grey for freighters, blue for warships. My usual hunting technique is to head to an area, submerge, accelerate time to max and watch for those lines.
THAT those lines are gone is not the issue, really. What IS an issue is that bloody Benno simply will NOT tell me when there's a sound contact! (Time acceleration doesn't slow when enemy ships approach either - my sub's beginning to look like a golf ball here...)
Is this a bug within the vanilla game? It's supposed to slow to normal time when something happens but so far, it hasn't.
If this is normal that's cool - I suppose I can shove the little dude out of the way and listen for myself but we're kind of paying him to do a job here! (lol)
Thanks for the help. :)
